Type:

DKG-V

Location

This sensor is a part of Integrated Throttle Body which

is fitted on inlet manifold upstream side. Throttle lever

shaft is extended to a crank lever which operates the

sensor (varies the circuit resistance).

Pin Configuration:

Working Principle

The throttle-valve sensor is potentiometer with linear

characteristic curve. The rotor arm, which is connected

with the throttle-valve shaft, drives with its wipers over

the related resistance tracks. Therewith the angle of

rotation of the throttle-valve is transferred into a thereto

proportional voltage U

A

/U

V

. The throttle-valve sensor

does not possess a return-spring.

Installation Details

The sensor is suitable for mounting in the Engine bay.

Permissible tightening torque for fixing screws: 1.5 –

2.5 Nm

Storage Conditions

Throttle-valve sensors have to be stored at dry place,

which should be dust-free and free from silicon area.

During transport or mounting of the component, the

connector and the internal space of the sensor must

not be contaminated by reactive, liquids or water.

Storage Temperature

-10°C to 80°C

Relative Humidity

20 to 80%
