Circuit Short to Ground
This fault gets logged if the starter
Control relay control pin of EMS ecu is
short circuited to Ground
1.
CE Lamp ON.
2.
Vehicle gets cranked in gear,
which may lead to jerk.
1.
Check whether the EMS ecu signal pin 207 is Short circuited to
ground due to wrong wiring harness connections, If so rectify
the wiring harness connections as per the schematic.
2.
Check the starter relay 1 & 2 wiring harness connections are as
per the schematic.
3.
Check whether the starter relay 1 / starter relay 2 contacts are
stuck open / Closed, if so then replace the starter relay 1 /
Starter relay 2.
4.
If problem still persists then replace the starter relay 2.
5.
If the problem still persists then replace starter relay 1.
6.
If still problem persists then replace the Water in Fuel Sensor.
7.
If still problem persists then replace the EMS ECU.

Circuit short to battery
This fault gets logged if the starter
Control relay control pin of EMS ecu is
short circuited to battery
CE Lamp ON
1.
Check whether the EMS ecu signal pin 207 is short circuited to
battery, due to wrong wiring harness connections, If so rectify
the wiring harness connections as per the schematic.
2.
Check the starter relay 1 & 2 wiring harness connections are as
per the schematic.
3.
Check whether the starter relay 1 / starter relay 2 contacts are
stuck open / Closed, if so then replace the starter relay 1 /
Starter relay 2.
4.
If problem still persists then replace the starter relay 2.
5.
If the problem still persists then replace starter relay 1.
6.
After the fault rectification, crank the vehicle without pressing
clutch, vehicle should not start.

Signal Stuck In Range
This fault gets logged when the starter
relay contacts are stuck open
CE Lamp ON
1.
Check the starter relay 1 & 2 wiring harness connections are as
per the schematic.
2.
Check whether the starter relay 1 / starter relay 2 contacts are
stuck open / Closed, if so then replace the starter relay 1 /
Starter relay 2.
3.
If problem still persists then replace the starter relay 2.
4.
If the problem still persists then replace starter relay 1.
5.
After the fault rectification, crank the vehicle, vehicle should
start.
