Cylinder 4 Injection Timing
This DTC gets logged due to the
mechanical failure of the injector of
cylinder 4 or MDP (minimum drive
pulse) related issue of Injector of
cylinder 4
1.
EMS ecu doesn't activate AC
compressor relay even though AC
request is activated by customer
and applies default ac torque.
2.
EMS ecu Freeze (Do not activate)
IMV current trim fault.
3.
EMS ecu Increases idle target
speed.
4.
Apply reduce torque 1 mode:(60%
of torque) or reduce torque
mode:(80% of torque).
5.
EMS ecu disable's SPC (Speed
Pilot Control) strategy, no more
SPC trim update.
6.
EMS ecu disables the AFR
controller.
7.
MI Lamp light on & Display
message on IC shows: Engine
system fault.
8.
EMS ecu disables cruise control
function.
9.
EMS ecu disables RVD on injector
Cylinder 4.
10.
EMS ecu Enters into SPC (Speed
Pilot Control) extended mode
(wider area…).
11.
EMS ecu disables IMV resistance
estimation.
1.
Check injector connector; Key off ignition and wait for 20
seconds. Disconnect the injector clean and reconnect properly.
Check if problem vanishes.
2.
Perform Injector cylinder 4 actuator test with the help of I/O
control command of injector cylinder 3 If this test fails then it is
confirmed that there is some issue with either injector wiring
harness/Injector itself.
3.
Check the wiring harness resistance between the Injector
cylinder 4 connector pin 2 and EMS ECU pin A25, the
resistance value should be less than 0.15 ohm. Check the
wiring harness resistance between the Injector cylinder 4
connector pin 1 and EMS ECU pin A03, the resistance value
should be less than 0.15 ohm. If the resistance found is out of
range then replace wiring harness of injector, check the
resistance between two injector terminals it should be less
than 0.322 ohms.
4.
Check for fault codes - P0204 or P0272 or P2150 or P2151. If
any of these faults appear then resolve these faults by
following their rectification procedure.
5.
Replace injector cylinder 4 wiring harness if problem still
persists.
6.
Replace injector if problem still persists.
7.
Replace ECU if problem still persists.
