5. Push clutch fluid pipe forward to seat properly
and press the clip down till the clip to
completely arrest the connector; refit the cap
on the bleed valve.
6. Top up the recommended brake oil to the
Max. Mark.
CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER BLEEDING
PROCEDURE (TYPE – II)
NOTE:
Two technicians are required for this process,
one to be seated on the driver seat.
Ensure that the brake fluid in the reservoir is
filled little above the max. mark.
1. Position the vehicle on a two- post lift and
raise it to a height, where it is convenient to
the technician to access the clutch slave
cylinder.
2. Remove the bleed plug cap on the bleed port
on the clutch slave cylinder body.
3. Connect the bleed pipe (1), press the clip
(2)down and pull out the clutch fluid pipe
(3),(keeping the clip pressed down) till it is
stopped by the pressed clip.
4. With the pipe in that position pump the clutch
pedal till the air bubbles stop completely and
only brake fluid comes out of the bleed pipe.
5. After the bleeding is done, push the clutch
fluid pipe inwards to seat properly.
NOTE: -
The clip automatically comes back to its
earlier lock position when pipe is pushed forward.
6. Remove the bleed pipe and refit the cap on
the bleed port.
7. Top up the recommended brake oil to the
Max. mark.
