28.Remove the case side differential bearing outer
race and shims using 5438 5890 2603 (two leg)
puller.

NOTE:
Document the location of each shim as they will be
utilized as the starting point for the bearing preload
adjustment process.
29.Remove the case side gear shaft bearing outer
race and shims using bearing outer race
Remover 5438 5890 2603 (two leg) puller.
30.Remove the lubricating duct by pulling upward.
NOTE:
The oil ducts are staked to the case and may
require some grinding before removal.
31.Remove the shaft oil ducts from the case using
a screwdriver or the equivalent.
