29.Install the sealing ring to the transmission.
30.Install the Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) and
bolt to the transmission. Tighten the bolts to 10
Nm (89 in. lbs.) and engage the retention tabs.
31.Connect the hydraulic fitting (2) to the plastic
retainer (1).
32.Connect the hydraulic connection at the case.
33.Install the axle seals Transmission and Transfer
Case/Manual/SEAL, Axle Drive Shaft/ Removal
and Installation).
CLEANING
Clean the gears. bearings. shafts, synchronizers,
thrust washers, oil feeder. shift mechanism, gear
case, and bell housing. Do not use solvent to clean
sealed bearings. Dry all parts except the bearings
with compressed air. Allow the bearings to either
air dry or wipe them dry with clean shop towels.
