18. Install the air cleaner (Refer to 09 - Engine/Air

Installation).
19. Install the right front wheelhouse splash shield
(Refer
to

Splash/Removal and Installation).
20. Install the right front wheel (Refer to 22 - Tires
and Wheels/Removal and Installation).
21. Install the turbocharger (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Turbocharger
System/TURBOCHARGER/Removal
and
Installation).
22. Install the Diesel Particulate Filter (Refer to 11
-
Exhaust
System/FILTER,
Diesel
Particulate/Removal and Installation).
23. Install the radiator (Refer to 07 -
Cooling/Engine/RADIATOR,
Engine
Cooling/Removal and Installation).
24. Install the engine cooling fan (Refer to 07 -
Cooling/Engine/FAN,
Cooling/Removal
and
Installation).
25. Install the front bumper (Refer to 13 - Frame
and Bumpers/Bumpers/FASCIA, Front/Removal
and Installation).
26. Evacuate and charge the A/C system with
refrigerant (Refer to 24 - Heating and Air
Conditioning/Plumbing/ Standard Procedure).
27. Fill the cooling system (Refer to 07 -
Cooling/Standard Procedure).
28. Install the belly pan (Refer to 13 - Frame and
Bumpers/Under
Body
Protection/BELLY
PAN/Removal and Installation).
29. Install the engine cover (Refer to 09 -
Engine/COVER, Engine/Removal and Installation).
30. Connect the negative battery cable.
E. BALANCE SHAFT
REMOVAL
1. Remove the front wheels (Refer to 22 - Tires and
Wheels/Removal and Installation).
2. Remove the front belly pan (Refer to 13 - Frame
and Bumpers/Under Body Protection/BELLY
PAN/Removal and Installation).
3. Remove the front wheel splash shields (Refer to
23 - Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash/Removal and
Installation).
4. Remove the front fascia (Refer to 13 - Frame and
Bumpers/Bumpers/FASCIA, Front/Removal and
Installation).
5. Remove the front suspension crossmember
(Refer
to
13
-
Frame
and
Bumpers/Frame/CROSSMEMBER,
Front
Suspension/Removal and Installation).
6. Drain the engine oil.
7. Remove the left and right half shafts (Refer to 03
- Differential and Driveline/Half Shaft/Removal and
Installation).
8. Remove the engine cover (Refer to 09 -
Engine/COVER, Engine/Removal and Installation).
9. Remove the battery (Refer to 08 -
Electrical/Battery System/BATTERY/Removal and
Installation).
10. Remove the battery tray (Refer to 08 -
Electrical/Battery System/TRAY, Battery/Removal
and Installation).
11. Remove the air cleaner body (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Air
Intake
System/BODY,
Air
Cleaner/Removal and Installation).
12. Remove the transfer case, if equipped (Refer
to 21 - Transmission and Transfer Case/Power
Transfer Unit/ Removal and Installation) .
13. Remove the clutch, if equipped (Refer to 06 -
Clutch/DISC, Clutch/Removal and Installation).
14. Remove the flywheel on vehicles with manual
gearbox
and
4x4
(Refer
to

Clutch/FLYWHEEL/Removal and Installation).
15. Remove the oil pan (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Lubrication/PAN,
Oil/Removal
and
Installation).
16. Remove the serpentine belt (Refer to 07 -
Cooling/Accessory
Drive/BELT,
Serpentine/Removal and Installation).
17. Remove the vibration damper (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Engine
Block/DAMPER,
Vibration/Removal and Installation).
