II. INSTALLATION

OF

REAR

SHOCK

ABSORBER AND COIL SPRINGS:

1. Refit the shock absorber top mounting

fasteners with new nylon nut in the luggage

compartment and tighten to 2.5 to 3 kgm

Torque.

2. Fit and rotate the top rubber with the coil

spring.

3. Position the spring bottom rubber pad is to

fixed to twist beam in two holes. Spring to be

oriented such that end rest and against the

stopper of bottom rubber pad.

4. Raise the torsion beam using hydraulic jack so

that the coil spring gets compressed and shock

absorber sits exactly over torsion beam

properly.

5. Refit and Torque Rear Shock Absorber Bottom

Fastener. (as per torque table).

6. Refit the rear wheels.

7. Remove the Car from 2 Post Lift.

NOTE:

While fitment of damper the bottom bush to be

tighten in Preloading condition. Jacking on

the beam not to be done to avoid failure
