15.Disconnect the bundy pipe/Hose from wheel
cylinder. Remove bleed screw. Put rubber dust
cap on to the bundy pipe to avoid brake fluid
from spilling and contamination.
16.Remove the stub axle and back plate along
with brake shoe assembly.
17. Remove the shock absorber lower bolts and
coil springs. (Refer removal and refitment of
shock absorber and coil springs)
18.Give Support to the stub axle from bottom
side.
19. Loosen and remove the twist beam bracket
bolts on both sides.
20. Lower the twist beam along with bracket
21.Remove the twist beam cross bolt on both
sides.
22. Twist beam bush removal
23.Remove twist beam front pivot bush using
special tools as shown in below arrangement.
NOTE:
•
Apply soap water to the bush and the bore of
twist beam assembly before installation.
•
Tightening of RTB on body to be done in
preloading condition. No jacking to be
done on beam, avoid oil based lubricant
while pushing the bushes in eye
