Once the bearing comes out, unlock the

anchoring shaft by turning the locking nut

anticlockwise on the top and slowly tap on the

locking stud down to unlock the bearing from

anchoring body and to remove bearing from

the tool.

27. Remove Outer race cylindrical roller bearing

of Input shaft from front housing with the help

of puller 5438 5890 2618.

PROCEDURE FOR REMOVAL OF INPUT

SHAFT BEARING

Position the transaxle RH side case, facing the

bearing in upward direction.

Take the bearing puller (5438 5809 2618) and

place the outer hub of puller on the machined

surface of transaxle casing, surrounding of the

input shaft bearing.

Rotate the pulling nut 30 mm anticlockwise and

allow anchoring body shaft of puller to get

inserted inside the bearing.

Once the anchoring body is inserted fully, hold

the locking stud on the top using open end

spanner 8 mm and turn the locking nut on the

top slowly using open end spanner 17 mm, few

turns till it gets resistance to rotate.

It allows flaring the anchoring body and gets

lock with bearing rollers.

CAUTION:

Please stop once the shaft is locked, excess

rotation of locking nut may cause damage to

puller of bearing.

Once the anchoring body is locked with

bearing hold the anchoring body shaft at the

top using the open end spanner 18 mm.
