FITMENT
1. Using a NEW gasket, install the cylinder head
cover (1a) and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper
(Torque Specifications).
2. Place the engine wiring duct in its housing and
tighten the fixing screws.
3. Connect the quick coupling for the brake servo
vacuum pipe, vacuum unit side, and engage the
retaining clip.
4. Install the intake manifold mounting bracket and
securely tighten the bolts.
5. Connect the upper A/C compressor wire harness
connector.
6. Connect the lower A/C compressor wire harness
connector.
7. Connect the oil pressure regulator wire harness
connector.
8. Install the fuel rail (1) and tighten the bolts to the
proper (Torque Specifications).
9. Connect the fuel pressure sensor wire harness
connector (2).
10. Place the NEW fuel tube from the fuel injection
pump to the fuel rail and tighten the union nut at the
rail to the proper (Torque Specifications).
11. Tighten the fuel tube union nut (1) at the fuel
injection pump to the proper (Torque
Specifications).
12. Connect the fuel quantity solenoid wire harness
connector.
13. Install the fuel injectors (Refer to 14 - Fuel
System/Fuel
Inspection/INJECTOR(S),
Fuel/Removal and Installation).
14. Install the timing belt (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Valve Timing/BELT, Timing/Removal and
Installation).
15. Install the vibration damper (Refer to 09 -
Engine/Engine
Block/DAMPER,
Vibration/Removal and Installation).
