11. Remove ball joint (steering rack) from steering

knuckle from both sides.

12. Remove vertical link mountings on

suspension rod for both RH & LH sides.

13. Remove starter motor connection & its three

mountings & take out starter motor.

14. Disconnect electrical connections of Reverse

Light switch.

15. Disconnect power steering pressure line and

its mounting over transaxle.

16. Disconnect gear shifter cables.

17. Remove 3 allen bolt of intermediate shaft &

take out Drive shaft from driver side/Engine

side.

18. Remove Drive shaft from co-driver side.

NOTE:

C

are should be taken not to damage

driveshaft oil seal and its boots (do not use

hammer).

CAUTION:

Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the plunge

joint will come out of housing and damage the

boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for taking out joint

out of splines. Do not place the CV drive shaft on

rough / uncleaned surfaces. This might damage

the drive shaft boot.

19. Give support from bottom side of Engine

Assembly

20. Remove fuel line supporting bracket from

clutch housing.

21. Disconnect high-pressure hose assy. from

clutch release lever.

22. Disconnect ‘C’ mount bracket bolt.
