5.
Install the thrust washer lower half shell.
6. Install all the lower main bearing halfs.
7. Tighten main bearing cap mounting bolts
gently and uniformly in order as shown to
specified torque
8. Apply oil on piston, piston rings, cylinder bore
and bearing shells.
9.
Push the piston assemblies into the cylinders
using mallet.
NOTE
Ensure that the arrow mark on the piston
crown is towards the exhaust manifold side
and facing at Engine Front of the block.
10.
Verify serial numbers on connecting rod
bearing caps and connecting rods.
11.
Install the connecting rod bearing shells on
the crankshaft.
12.
Turn
the Crankshaft to adjust the position of
the pistons and install the connecting rod
bearing cap mounting bolts.
