14. Lock the balancer shaft in the bedplate using
a locking bolt
(5715 0310 9904)
as shown
below.
15. Remove the mounting bolt of the balancer
shaft gear and take out the gear.
VII. Removal of Cylinder Head And Camshaft
1. Remove the rear intermediate bearing of the
camshafts.
2. Remove the Camshaft Bearing Caps
attaching bolts, starting from the ends of the
cylinder head and working inwards to center.
3. Remove front ITG bearing cap upper.
