Step Checks
IF YES

Check whether the EGR valve is leaking into intake
manifold
Rectify the leakage
Go to Next step
2
Check whether the intercooler is operating fine (with its
specified efficiency)
Rectify if possible.
Else call hotline for
assistance
Go to next step
3
Check if Engine overheat is observed.
Check coolant level
and if found low, fill
coolant
Check for cooling
fan related faults. If
found, rectify them.
Go to next step
4
Check whether any faults related to MAF sensor are found
Rectify them by
following their
rectification
procedure
Go to Next step
5
Check WH continuity between HP EGR valve and EMS
ECU as per the schematic. Any dis-continuity found?
Rectify the WH
connections
Go to Next step
6
Fault Persists.
Call Hotline
Repeat the above
steps for re-
confirmation
DTC’s confirmation:
After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
