Routine Test again.
If the Routine result
is negative, then
call hotline for
confirmation to
replace EGR valve.

Check for mechanical damage / Blockages in EGR Valve
Remove the
blockages. If found
damaged then call
hotline to confirm
EGR valve
replacement.
Go to Next Step.

Check the Electrical Continuity between the EGR Valve
and EMS ECU. For pin details, refer schematic section
below.
Go to next step
Rectify the wiring
harness
connections as per
the circuit
schematic.

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector
Replace the
connector or wiring
harness
Go to Next Step

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU
Connector
Rectify/Replace
Connectors
Go to Next Step

Check whether any of the EGR valve pins (A067, A088,
A040, A079, A078) are short circuited to Battery / Ground.
Rectify the wiring
Harness
Connections
Go to Next Step.

Check whether the EGR valve is fouling with any other
component
Remove the fouling
Go to next step

Check whether the EGR valve is physically damaged
Call hot line for
assistance
Go to next step

Fault Persists.
Call Hotline
Repeat the above
steps for re-
confirmation
DTC’s confirmation:
After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
Incase EGR valve is needed to be replaced, then open the Component Replacement Tab and execute below routines:
“EGR high pressure offset reset and activation of the learning ($ 02 0F)”
“EGR High Pressure DC Motor Test”
