3. Check whether the O2 sensor is physically damaged. If so, call Hotline for assistance.
4. Loose / damaged connections between O2 sensor and EMS ECU? Rectify wiring harness connections as per
circuit schematic.
5. Back out of pins at Oxygen sensor connector / EMS ECU? If so, rectify / replace connectors.

Check for any other faults presence
Rectify them by

rectification
procedure
Go to next step
2.
Check for wiring harness continuity between the O2 sensor
and EMS ECU as per the circuit schematic. Any dis-
continuities found?
Rectify the wiring
harness as per the
circuit schematic
Go to next step
3
Check whether the O2 sensor is physically damaged.
Call Hotline for
assistance on
whether O2 sensor
need to be replaced
or not.
Go to next step
4
Check whether any leakages exist in exhaust gas flow
path?
Rectify / replace
pipes to avoid
leakages
Go to next step
5
Check whether the Catalytic converter is defective
Call Hotline for
assistance on
whether Catalytic
Converter need to
be replaced or not.
Go to next step
3.
Fault Persists.
Call Hotline for
assistance on
whether O2 sensor
need to be replaced
or not.
Go to next step
4
Fault Persists
Call hotline
Repeat above
procedure for re-
confirmation that
fault is correctly
rectified.
DTC’s confirmation:
After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
In case of O2 sensor replacement, perform below routines activation:
“Exchange of Lambda Sensor Unit
$02 05 03”
