B1F2A-14:- Cabin Temperature Sensor - Circuit Short to Ground or Open;
:
ISO Code
B1F2A- 14
Customer Symptom
System is less responsive to user control and environmental
conditions
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Vehicle Interior Temperature cannot be evaluated. Heating
and cooling will not be accurate. For intermediate set
temperatures, time taken for cooling or heating will be more
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
Incar Temperature sensor circuit - Short to Ground or Open.
Normal Operating Condition
Temperature sensor is Functional
Probable Trouble Area
1) Sensor signal short to ground
2) Sensor signal is open circuited
3) Sensor soldering or mounting is not proper
4) No continuity between FATC ECU to Sensor
Healing Condition
NA
Component Details:
The temperature sensor is usually integrated directly in the control unit and transfers the actual interior temperature to the
control unit. The measured value is used for comparison with the set point.
Preliminary Checks:
1) Read Incar sensor ECU parameter
Vehicle Interior Temperature Internal
from the diagnostic tool
2) Change the temperature settings from 16 Deg to 30 Deg and check if the ECU parameter value is updating
