Customer Symptom
Auto wipe activation feature may not work.

Auto wipe activation feature may not work.

Fault Detection Condition
BCM log this fault when Rain Sensor Hardware fails. (
May be stuck / short to ground / short to Battery)
Normal Operating Condition
RLS detects the intensity of rain based on these
threshold values. BCM shall then activate the auto wipe
function as per signals from rain sensor.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector Fault
2. Sensor damaged
3. BCM ECU faulty
Healing Condition
1. Ignition OFF
ON
2. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
BCM allows activation of wiper automatically with input from the Rain sensor.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above)
2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
