Customer Symptom
Internal Unlock switch does not operate

Internal Unlock switch does not operate

N.A.
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged by BCM; if signal stuck low
condition is detected for Internal Unlock switch.
Normal Operating Condition
If the vehicle is Internally locked and Internal unlock
switch is press then BCM shall immediately unlock the
door.
Probable Trouble Area
6. BCM connector Fault.
7. Internal Unlock switch input wire Short to ground
from cockpit wiring harness.
8. Switch damaged or stuck
9. BCM ECU fault.
Healing Condition
3. Ignition OFF
ON
4. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
Interior lock/Unlock switch is used for central door lock/unlock function. If vehicle is internally locked
and user press Internal Unlock switchthen BCM shall operate the central door lock and unlock relays to
unlock the door.
Preliminary Checks:
3. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above)
4. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
