Customer Symptom
Rear wiper operates at fixed speed only
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Rear wiper operates at fixed speed only.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine
execution. User has to operate the switch manually during
routine. If short to battery circuit fault is detected for Rear
Wiper Fixed Interval Signal then this DTC code will be
returned with the Routine results.
Normal Operating Condition
There should not be any fault returned by routine.
Probable Trouble Area
1. 1. BCM connector Fault.
2. 2. Harness issue.
3. 3. Switch fault.
4. 4. ECU fault.
Healing Condition
1. 1. Give ignition cycle after fault removal
2. 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged
Component Details:
Rear wiper operates in fixed interval mode when this switch is activated.
Preliminary Checks:
1.
Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2.
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
