START
Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the
switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification.
Is DTC B222D-12 logged
by Routine?
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
Check BCM and combi switch connectors
for terminal backout
Are connectors loose?
1.Remove BCM Connector.
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged etc.
Is connector faulty?
1.Put combi switch in OFF state.
2.Check continuity between BCM connector pin
[C4-6]
with battery
[C3-2/
C3-1]
Continuity Found?
1.Remove Combi Switch mating connector
2. Check continuity between BCM harness side connector pin
[C4-6
] and low beam
contact at combi switch
Open Circuit?
Perform the visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged etc.
Is connector faulty?
Check continuity at combi switch low beam contact with
ground
Continuity found?
BCM ECU Faulty
STOP

Reconnect connectors firmly
Correct connector fault
(Terminals Bend)

Correct BCM Side wiring harness
(Short to Battery)

Correct wiring harness
(Open Circuit)
YES

Correct connector fault

Correct connector fault at combi
switch mating connector
(Open Circuit)

Replace BCM ECU
1. Connect combi switch mating connector
2. Put combi switch at low beam contact
3. check countinuty betweem combi switch low beam contact with ground
Continuity found?
YES
Combi switch fault .
Replace combi switch
NO
