B2503 -11: Reverse Gear Selection Switch - circuit short to ground/ open circuit

START

Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the

switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification.

Is DTC B2503-11 logged

by Routine?

Disconnect vehicle battery connection.

(Please follow the safety guidelines)

Check BCM and Gear selection switch connectors

for terminal backout

Are connectors loose?

Reconnect connectors firmly

YES

1.Remove BCM Connector.

2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or

damaged etc.

Is connector

faulty?

Correct connector fault

(Terminals Bend)

YES

Check Fuse ( Reverse and break lamp fuse/ Battery fuse)

Fuse Blown?

Replace the Fuse

(Open Circuit)

YES

STOP

YES
