Odd and Even Gear Engagement Solenoids

Removal:

1.

Place the car on a lift.

2.

Position the gear lever at N.

3.

Connect the diagnosis equipment and car-

ry out the accumulator depressurization

procedure.

4.

Remove protection/guard under engine

5.

Remove left front wheel.

6.

Remove battery.

7.

Remove battery support/drip tray.

8.

Remove wiring for manual gearbox hy-

draulic selection system on hydraulic

selection unit

9.

Remove hydraulic speed selection hydrau-

lic actuator unit and clutch

10. Loosen and remove the fixing screws for

the odd gear engagement solenoid valve.

11. Remove the odd gear engagement sole-

noid valve (1a) complete with O-rings

(1b).

12. Remove the O-ring from the odd gear en-

gagement solenoid valve seat.

13. Proceed in the same way to remove the

even gear engagement solenoid valve.

Odd and Even Gear Engagement Solenoids

Fitment:

1.

Fit a new O-ring in the odd gear engage-

ment solenoid valve seat.

2.

Place the odd gear engagement solenoid

valve in its seat complete with new O-

rings and tighten the screws to the pre-

scribed torque.

3.

Proceed in the same way for the even gear

engagement solenoid valve.
