Electro Hydraulic Selection Gearbox Activa-
tion Hydraulic Unit Mounting Fitment:
Place the mounting for the gearbox elec-
tro-hydraulic selection system hydraulic
actuation unit in its housing complete with
new O-ring and tighten the screws.
Place the gear selection dog back in its
housing and tighten the relevant screw.
Assemble Hydraulic speed selection hy-
draulic Actuator unit and clutch.
Assemble Wiring of manual gearbox hy-
draulic selection system on hydraulic
selection unit.
Assemble protection / guard under engine.
Refill the electro-hydraulic selection gear-
box hydraulic control system, with
reference to hydraulic system fluid for
gearbox with hydraulic selection check lev-
el and top up if necessary.
Assemble the Battery and support tray.
Connect the diagnosis equipment and carry
out the following operations:
Hydraulic system for gearbox with hy-
draulic selection - bleed air
Clutch self-calibration enablement.
Grid self tuning - service.
New actuators (only if the hydraulic actu-
ation unit is being replaced).
Remove the car from the lift.
Electro Hydraulic Circuit Reservoir and Sys-
tem Pump Removal:
Place the car on a lift.
Connect the diagnosis equipment and carry
out the accumulator depressurisation pro-
cedure.
Disconnect the Battery and remove the
battery support and tray along with Bat-
tery.
Remove the heat protection bulkhead on
gearbox hydraulic circuit reservoir with
electro hydraulic selection.
Remove the pressure accumulator on hy-
draulic actuator unit.
Remove the Protection / guard under the
engine.
1. Unscrew the plug and draw off the fluid in
the electro- hydraulic selection gearbox
hydraulic circuit using a suitable syringe.
2. Unscrew the connector for the pipe from
the electric pump to the hydraulic unit,
electric pump side.
