FRONT AXLE (4X2)

3. Install stub axle with wheel hub and brake disc

assembly on vehicle

(For procedure refer stub

axle installation).

4. Hold the wheel hub assembly using hub holder

(Part No 2870 5890 33 16)

and tighten the hex

nut to 40 Kgm torque. Lock the nut by

punching the collar of the nut into the groove.

NOTE

Do not reuse the hex nut, use new one at the time

of assembly.

III TONER RING REPLACEMENT

NOTE

Wheel unitised bearing and brake disc assembly

already removed from vehicle.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the toner ring using special tool

(2870

5890 33 01)

as shown in below arrangement.

a. Place the bush support

on the hub.

b. Place the holding jaws

(1)

such that they hold

the toner ring.

c. Mount the plate on the holding jaws and

tighten the two hex bolts

(2).

Make sure that

the bush support

(5)

is resting on the hub and

not on the toner ring

(4).

d. Now slowly rotate the hex screw

(3)

using a

spanner. The tool will come off along with the

toner ring.

e. Remove the puller and take out the toner ring.
