11.2 MAINTENANCE

A ON VEHICLE PROCEUDRE

I FRONT STUB AXLE ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. Hoist the vehicle on two post lift and remove

the front wheel.

2. Remove the stone guard (

For procedure refer

Body section

)

3. Remove front wheel speed sensor.(

For

procedure refer Brakes - ABS section

)

NOTE

Don’t remove hydraulic brake line connected to

Brake caliper assembly.

4. Loosen & remove mounting bolts of front brake

caliper assembly with carrier & remove the

brake caliper assembly and hang it

suitably.(

For procedure refer Brakes section

)

5. Disconnect steering rack & pinion OBJ end

from stub axle. (

For procedure refer Steering

RAP removal section

)

6. Remove the bracket of brake hose mounting

along with the brake hose from the stub axle

assembly.

7. Loosen and remove the mounting nut of ARB

(Anti roll bar)

link assembly from stub axle.
