FRONT AXLE (4X4)
INTRODUCTION
The 4X4 front axle is an independent suspension
type with electrical Axle Disconnect Mechanism.
This can be engaged and disengaged during
driving and there is no need to reverse the vehicle
to disconnect the front axle.
The wheel hub bearing is a unitised bearing which
does not need lubrication. Also there is no Hub
play adjustment reducing the maintenance
required.
The Above pinion design results in less propeller
shaft inclination and thereby reducing torsional
vibrations.
In vehicles with ABS the toner ring is mounted on
the Front Axle drive shaft.
