3. Support the brake disc and press the stub axle

shaft to separate it from brake disc and hub

assembly.

4. Hold wheel hub and brake disc assembly on

suitable fixture. Loosen brake disc mounting

bolts and take out the brake disc.

NOTE

The wheel hub bearing is not separately

serviceable. In case of bearing failure, the wheel

hub with bearing has to be replaced.

INSTALLATION OF WHEEL HUB ON STUB

AXLE

1. Mount brake disc on wheel unitised bearing

and tighten brake disc mounting bolts to

specified torque

(6.5 ± 1 Kg-m).

NOTE

Before assembly of wheel hub and brake disc on

stub axle, antifretting paste LGAF 3E SKF (Part

no. 5511 0869532) to be applied over the stub

axle shaft at bearing seating surface using brush.

2. Assemble brake disc and wheel hub assembly

on stub axle with the help of press.
