P. FUEL FLAP MECHANISM:

REMOVAL

(Refer following image for location of components

and arrangement)

1. Push fuel filler flap or fuel filler door to open it

(vehicle should be in unlock condition)

2. Remove the filler cap chord from the hinge arm

location.

3. Remove the fuel filler door from the hinge arm.

To disassemble, pull out the snap on hinge arm

and slide the fuel filler flap to remove from

hinge arm.

4. Pull out the jack door from the rear quarter trim.

5. Remove the fuel drain pipe from fuel filler

assembly.

6. Remove fuel filler cap. Loosen and remove the

mounting bolts and push down the fuel drain

pipe from fuel filler assembly housing.

7. Remove the knob of Emergency fuel lid release

cable from Knob mounting bracket.
