Lamp Blink:

Car is in immobilized condition when

key is not inserted.

Lamp OFF:

Normal condition (Authenticated

user) and engine shall start.

Lamp ON:

Problem with key/system. Take your

car to TATA Authorized service

centre.

2.9.17 Check Engine Lamp

This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned

‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec

Caution

This symbol shall remain ‘ON’ for any engine

related fault that may cause damage to engine.

Take your car to a TATA Authorized service

centre.

2.9.18 Cruise Control lamp

This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned

‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec

The Cruise Control is used to indicate the status

of cruise control system to the driver. Lamp ON

indicates cruise control feature is present and it

is activated

2.9.19 DRL indication

This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned

‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec

This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned

‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds.

This symbol comes ON when the Day Time

Running lamp is ‘ON’.

2.9.20 ESP

This indicator comes ‘ON’ for approximately 4

seconds when Ignition is turned 'ON' and goes

‘OFF’. If it remains ‘ON’, it may indicate:

ESP Switched off due to passive system request

or failure detected at ESP system.

TCS Switched off due to passive system request

or failure detected at TCS system.

Blink at 2Hz due to Intervention by ESP/ TCS

system is active.

2.10. Reminder features (Audible)

The following are the Audible Reminder warnings

provided to the user.

2.10.1 Key In reminder

While leaving your vehicle, if you forget key inside

and Ignition is OFF, buzzer shall sound. Remove

Key to stop the warning.

2.10.2 Park Lamp ON reminder

While leaving your vehicle, if user forget to turn

OFF the Head Lamps, buzzer shall sound. Switch

off Park Lamps to stop the warning. Do not forget

to turn OFF your Head Lamps as it may drain

your Car Battery.

2.10.3 Park Brake ON reminder

If Park Brake is applied and vehicle is driven

above 5 Km/h, telltale shall blink along with chime

continuously. Disengage the park brake to stop

the warning.

2.10.4 Reverse Gear reminder

If reverse Gear engaged Buzzer shall sound to

alert you. This chime is applicable for both Manual

and AT transmission vehicles.
