2.1. Tachometer

Tachometer indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minute. Driving the vehicle with your tachometer

pointer continuously at the top of the scale may damage the engine.

Whenever engine is accelerated equal or greater than 4500 RPM then the pointer turns to RED, in such a

case, user should reduce the acceleration immediately.

At every key in and Ignition ON, Tachometer needle moves to MAX and come back to ‘0’ position. This

indicates welcome strategy and self-check feature.

Note

In Engine running condition if the Tachometer is not showing the RPM, take your vehicle to TATA

authorized service center.

2.2. Fuel Gauge

The fuel gauge indicates approximate amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank when the Ignition is ON.

“F” stands for Full and “E” stands for Empty.

Fuel gauge graphics color change from GREEN to AMBER and then RED depends on the fuel availability

in the fuel tank, as per below shown in the draining direction.

Fuel gauge change to RED color and low fuel warning telltale

turns on when fuel in the tank is near to

empty position. This is a low fuel warning.

Note:

On inclines, curves, braking and sudden acceleration due to the movement of fuel in the tank, the fuel

level display may fluctuate or the low fuel warning may come earlier than actual. Always check fuel level

when the vehicle is on level road.

When the ignition switch is in the “ON” position, this gauge gives an approximate indication of the

amount of fuel in the fuel tank and it takes few seconds to stabilize after the ignition is turned ON.

Warning

1) Running the fuel tank too low or empty can cause your engine to stall and could endanger you and your

passengers. You must stop and obtain additional fuel as soon as possible after low fuel warning comes

ON or RED bar ON in the Fuel gauge.

2) Do not continue adding fuel after the automatic shut off function is operated if it is equipped on the fuel

pump. The sensor in the fuel tank may misjudge the amount of fuel remaining.
