FRONT AND REAR WIPER SYSTEM
COMPONENTS:
8.8.3 FRONT WIPER MOTOR
LOCATION
The front wiper motor assembly is fitted on
windscreen support panel.
REMOVAL:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of battery.
2.
Remove both side wiper arm and blade
assembly.
(Refer wiper arm and blade
assembly removal procedure)
3. Loosen and remove 8 no. of mounting screws
of leaf screen.
(Refer Body Group for detailed
instructions)
4. Lift the leaf screen and disconnect the washer
hoses from the nozzles and remove hose
routing in the leaf screen.
5. Remove wiring harness routing from leaf
screen.
6. Take out the leaf screen assembly.
7. Remove the wiper motor mounting bracket by
removing three mounting bolts.
8. Disconnect the wiper motor connector and
remove the connector from its parking.
9. Remove seven mounting bolts of wiper linkage.
Shown in below figure.
10.Take out the wiper linkage assembly along with
wiper motor.
11.Remove three mounting bolts of wiper motor
and take out wiper motor from wiper linkage.
