FRONT AXLE (4X4)

9. Remove front wheel speed sensor (

For

procedure refer Brakes - ABS section

) and

remove the bracket from the knuckle.

10.Loosen and remove the mounting nut of ARB

(Anti roll bar)

link assembly from stub axle.

CAUTION

Allen key has to be used to hold the ARB link

while loosening or tightening to avoid damage to

the link (For procedure refer ARB removal in Front

suspension section)

11.Remove the drive shaft nut which was loosen

earlier.

12.Disconnect upper wishbone ball joint

. (For

procedure refer suspension upper wishbone

ball joint removal section)

WARNING



When the knuckle is disconnected from the

upper wishbone the knuckle may fall outwards

towards the operator. Hence supporting it is

very essential. If proper care is not taken it

may cause injury.



The upper wishbone might spring upwards

when released from knuckle, hence special

care should be taken.
