Unstake lock plates, loosen mounting bolts & remove

flywheel. Fig. 60

Unscrew and remove main bearing cap mounting

bolts. Fig. 61

Remove main bearing caps with bearing shells &

keep them with proper marking.

Take out crankshaft from crankcase alongwith rear

oil seal. Fig. 62
