Unscrew the ladder frame. Fig. 56

Remove crank case front cover along with oil seal.

Remove oil pump drive chain.

Carefully remove combustion residue (Ridge) on top

end of cylinder bores.

Turn crankshaft and bring a pair of piston to the

BDC.

Unscrew connecting rod bearing cap mounting nuts.

Remove connecting rod bearing caps with bearing

shells.

Push the piston out along with Con. rod with the

help of the wooden handle of mallet. Fig. 59

Paint cylinder numbers on the top of piston and keep

respective big end caps along with each Con. rod

on a suitable stand.

Remove remaining pairs of piston in the same

manner.
