Before tightening rocker shaft bracket bolts,
see that the ball pins are loosened to prevent
undue pressure on push rods and that rocker
shaft mounting bolts with the threaded holes
in heads are fitted in correct positions for
cylinder head covering mounting (fig. 8).
9.
Adjust valve clearance as per specified
procedure and to the specified values.
10.
Install cylinder head cover with the cylinder
head cover gasket as per specified
procedure.
11.
Install the upper water cooling line with new
gaskets. Connect the radiator hoses and
thermostat as per procedure.
12.
Install the rail, Injectors with new copper
washers, Injector Claw and new set of HP lines
as per the specified procedure.
13.
Fit new leak-off pipes on the Injectors.
14.
Insert all the electrical connections to the
Injectors, rail, water temperature sensor and
T-map sensor.
15.
Assemble the power steering subassembly on
the cylinder head and tighten the belt
tension.
16.
Fit the exhaust manifold gasket, exhaust
manifold, turbocharger with gasket, exhaust
down pipe.
17.
Install the EGR valve, EGR tube and vacuum
connections as per procedure.
18.
Connect the exhaust system to the exhaust
down pipe.
19.
Install the Air Intake Elbow with the gasket on
the cylinder head cover.
20.
Install the air intake system on the vehicle and
tighten the hose clips.
21.
Fill coolant in the cooling system.
