17. Do not apply force or bend the HP pipes while
fitment. Follow the fitment procedure.
18. Do not remove the rail unnecessarily. The rail can
perform maximum 10 assembly / disassembly
cycles of pipes without any damage.
19. Do not bleed air in the fuel lines by removing
any low pressure lines or high pressure lines.
20. Do not clean the Injectors with pressurized
water. The injector is not designed to be
washed with pressurised water.
21. Do not clean the HP pipes with compressed air,
oil or water. Cleaning is adding dirt in HP pipes
and CR system.
22. Do not handle CR components by hydraulic
connectors and sensor mounting connectors
and tubes.
23. Do not use any fallen/ broken water
sedimenters / fuel filters, even if there’s no
external sign of damage. Fallen / broken parts
will be identified and not used for any purpose.
Main statement
Case where LIS (Lucas Indian Service) must be called :
l
If check engine lamp turns ''ON''.
l
If engine doesn’t start and FIE system
suspected.
l
If need to open FIE system (compression test).
Warranty should not be paid if :
l
System has been opened by dealer ( rule not
respected), system contaminated.
l
Bad fuel quality : Water (rust on pump, Water in
Fuel ON), color, smell.
l
Filter / sedimenter change interval not
respected and water present (Water in Fuel
ON).
l
If any of the FIE components need to be
removed : to be done by LIS.
