4.5 Active Wake-up Capability

4.5.1 Description

BCM shall get wakeup by the below mentioned wakeup inputs signals (Inputs and Outputs section). BCM

shall wakeup other ECU's with a hardwired wakeup signals based on the wake-up functional requirements.

BCM shall not be required to wake-up other ECUs or woken up by other ECUs on CAN. Only hardwired

wake up and LIN BUS wakeup shall be required.

Note: For detailed hardware wake-up output signal related requirements refer hardwired wake-up strategy

document from TML (Hardwired Wake up strategyVerx.x.doc (latest version)). For any discrepancy between

these two documents, Hardwired wake-up strategy document will take precedence over power modes FD.

4.5.2 Conditional Requirements

BCM shall make hardware wakeup signal output ON and send the corresponding CAN and/or LIN signals

when any of the wake-up input is received.

If BCM detects the new wake-up input then it should activate the wake-up signal output again.

Wake-up output signal pulse ON time (T ON) shall be 100 mSec.
