Reverse cycling details: Locking Strategy (Reverse cycling) in Door Ajar Condition

Central Unlocking

One- stage unlocking

Whenever an unlock operation is requested, all the doors shall unlock simultaneously in one shot.

5.1.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

RKE Lock/ unlock command.

Mechanical Key lock/ unlock operation

Internal knob – Lock/ unlock operation.

Indication

• On successful RKE lock/unlock, flashes are provided

Reverse Cycling

If Driver door is opened and RKE lock is provided, then the door lock status changes from unlock

to

lock and back to unlock with the miss-lock sound.

Slam Locking

When any door is ajar except driver door and RKE lock is provided, then BCM lock all actuators without

flasher feedback and provide the miss-lock sound.
