1.8 FRONT FOG LAMPS

1.8.1 Description

The fog lights are used in low visibility weather conditions such as dense fog, heavy rain, heavy snow, or

smoke. Front fog lamps are used to improve the illumination of the road in case of fog, snowfall, rainstorms,

or dust clouds.

1.8.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• IGN is ON &

• Position lamps or Head Lamps switch is ON &

• Front Fog Lamp switch (facia) is activated

Deactivation –

• IGN is OFF or

• Position lamps &Head Lamp is OFF or

• Front Fog Lamp switch (facia) is deactivated

• Engine is being cranked

Tell-tale Indication –

• Fog Lamp Switch LED is illuminated

On Fault –

Respective DTC logged.
