A. CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery connection.

2. Pry out the lower cover

(1)

of steering column.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector

(1)

from the

clutch switch

(2).

4. Remove the circlip from the pedal pin

(1)

pressing the clutch pedal downwards remove

the stay rod from the pedal pin and then

remove the stay rod

(2)

with assistance spring

(3)

and pivot pin from the mounting bracket.

5. Remove the clutch switch mounting brackets by

removing the nuts.

6. Remove the spit pin

(1)

and free the clutch

pedal from the clutch master cylinder by

removing the clevis pin

(2)

NOTE

The CMC with bayonet adapter is free to remove

from the firewall. Hence secure its mounting nuts

after removal of clutch switch bracket in order to

keep it attached in its place.
