14. TRANSAXLEASSEMBLY:
A. SHIM SELECTION:
1. Measure the height of the differential assembly
Presume it to be ‘A’. The standard height is
134.20 mm.
2. Measure the height ‘B’ of the differential bearing
support on the rear half housing. The Standard
height is 17.95 mm.
3. Measure the height ‘C’ from the bearing support
on the front half housing and the housing mating
surface with rear half. The standard height is
116.25 mm.
4. The Differential Shim to be used will be then
‘S’ = (B + C - A )- 0.05.
‘S’ will be the thickness of the shim in mm.
