3. Remove the electrical connectors and take out

head lamp assembly.

INSPECTION

1. Check the connectors for any loose terminals or

wires broken at the terminal ends.

REMOVAL & REFITMENT OF HEAD LAMP :

REMOVAL

1. Open the front bonnet.

2. Remove two bolts securing headlamp assembly to

the body.

Front Direction Indicator :

The head lamp system provide two types of light; one

Main Beam to give maximum light well ahead of the

vehicle, and a Dipped Beamwhich is shorter and lower

so that it will not dazzle on oncoming drivers, and can

be used in low visibility area. Dipped Beamwith leveling

adjustment allows driver to focus required area with

Laden Vehicle Inclination.

Separate filaments in a single bulb in each Head Lamp

provide the Main & Dipped Beams

Bulbs are made with accurately located filaments and

a locating flange, so that when fitted into reflector, which

is permanently bonded together with lens, the bulb is

always at focus. The design ensures that bulb can be

fitted only in the correct position. The Head Lamp also

has a parking lamp.
