HOOD LATCH CABLE

Removal

1. Press the lock to disengage the cable from slot.

3. Remove hood latch. (Refer hood latch removal

procedure)

4. Remove left headlamp assembly. (Refer Headlamp

removal procedure/Electrical group)

5. Pull out the latch cable through the opening in the

firewall.

2. Pull out the cable and remove it from the slot.

Installation

1. Insert one end of the latch cable into passenger

compartment through the opening in the firewall.

2. Fix the latch cable into the slot and fit the lock.

3. Fit hood latch. (Refer hood latch installation

procedure)

4. Fit left headlamp assembly. (Refer headlamp

installation procedure/Electrical group)
