Remove the Circlip (01) holding the Third gear
Wheel and remove the Third gear wheel (02).
INPUT SHAFT ASSEMBLY
A. DISMANTLING

Remove the circlip using a circlip plier.
4.
Remove the Spacer (01), Fourth gear wheel (02),
and Shifter Sleeve assembly (03).

Hold Input shaft in a bench vice.
Note:
To ensure that the gears/ splines do not get
damaged by the vice jaws, pad it with wooden pieces
or any other softer material.
Note:
•
Do not reuse the circlip.
•
Replace the circlip with a new one of the same
thickness during assembly.

Fit tool No. (2834 5890 26 04) PULLER FOR
REMOVAL OF REAR BRG. FROM INPUT
SHAFT & LAYSHAFT and remove the front end
bearing.
