Carefully remove Gas rail along with injector
from Intake manifold
REFITMENT:
For fitment procedure follow the reverse
procedure of “Removal”.
Always follow the installation guideline given in
this section.
Conduct leak detection test after the fitment of
CNG injectors on vehicle
7. GAS RAIL
Function:
Gas rail act as a CNG fuel reservoir. It has one
inlet and two outlet connections / ports. The outlets
are connected to gas injectors & inlet is connected
to pressure regulator (low pressure side).
It is also fitted with a pressure and temperature
(P&T) sensor by which fuel density can be
calculated.
Location:
Gas rail is mounted on intake manifold.
