9. DIAGNOSTIC USER MANUAL
General
Engine Management System (EMS) comprises of Electronic Control Unit (ECU), sensors, actuators and
control algorithms that determine the performance of the Engine as a whole and as part of the vehicle.
Salient Features
The Diagnostic Tester software for Nano CNG is capable to communicate with ECU in the vehicle through
CAN/ K line Interface. The tester comprises of an Interface Unit and custom built application software. The
user friendly application software can be easily installed on Windows Desktop or Laptop.
The interface unit is lightweight and compact in size to facilitate easy portability. It works on vehicle battery
supply.
The tester application executes all the commands supported by Nano CNG ECU, which helps in diagnosis of
Nano CNG Vehicle.
Following service are provided by the Diagnostic Tester application:
1. Read ECU Identification data, Manufacturing Information.
2. Reading and clearing DTCs.
3. Input output parameters.
