1.4.46 SUNROOF

DO’s AND DON’TS

Regularly check the GUIDE RAILS and

DRAIN HOLES for foreign objects.

Do not block the sunroof with your hands or

objects while operating to avoid accidents.

Do not touch the Rollo fabric when it is

operating, so as not to damage the Rollo.

Do not open the sunroof when the weather is

bad (dusty, windy and heavy rain), to avoid

water or dust or debris accumulation.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery’s negative terminal.

2. Place protective covers on the following:

Carpet, Steering Wheel, Instrumental Panel,

Seats, Hood, Doors, Deck Lid, Exterior Glass,

and Roof.

3. Remove A pillar trim. (Refer R+R of A pillar

trim)

4. Remove B pillar trim. (Refer R+R of B pillar

trim)

5. Remove C pillar trim. (Refer R+R of C pillar

trim)

6. Remove the two sunvisors.( Refer R+R of

sunvisor)

7. Remove the roof lamp. (Refer R+R of roof

lamp in Electrical section.)

8. Remove the three grab handle. (Refer R+R of

grab handle)

9. Remove the roof headliner. (Refer R+R of

roof headliner)

10. Unplug all the wiring harness connected to

sunroof, and sunroof switches.

11. Unplug all the drain hoses from 4 corners of

the sunroof.

12. Remove all 18Nos. M6 Screws with washer

and safely remove the sunroof.

NOTE

Due to the weight of the sunroof assembly it is

recommended that you use Jacks to support the

sunroof assembly to avoid twisting of guide rails

during handling.

FITMENT

For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
