6) HIGH PRESSURE PUMP REMOVAL AND

REFITMENT

REMOVAL

1. Relieve fuel pressure.

2. Remove the air filter resonator assembly.

3. Remove underbody engine guard.

4. Disconnect fuel lines to fuel filter and fuel rail

5. Disconnect electrical connection to HP pump.

6. Disconnect return fuel lines.

7. Remove the fuel pump three mounting nuts.

8. Remove the timing cover.
